Delete your data
PetBuddy keeps all data on your phone and has no account, so there is no server data to delete. To remove everything: Android Settings › Apps › PetBuddy › Storage › Clear storage, or uninstall the app. To delete a single health record, open it in the app and choose Delete.
Frequently asked questions
Is PetBuddy free?
Yes. PetBuddy is free to download and use. This version has no ads and no purchases with real money; coins and gems are earned by caring for your pets and playing.
Do I need an account or internet?
No. PetBuddy works fully offline without an account. This version does not request internet access at all.
Which pets can I track?
Any pet: cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles and more. You can add as many pets as you like.
Will my pet die if I forget it?
Never. If you are away your tiny pet just gets sleepy or a little sad, and cheers up when you come back.
Does PetBuddy send notifications?
No. Reminders are shown inside the app and in the optional widgets, so you are never spammed.
How do I back up or move my data?
Settings › Privacy › Export creates a JSON file you can keep. Android's own device backup (if you turned it on) can also restore your pets on a new phone.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the app, or open Android Settings › Apps › PetBuddy › Storage › Clear storage. Because nothing is stored on our servers, this removes everything.
What is “pet on your screen”?
An optional mode where your tiny pet walks over your other apps. It needs the Android permission “Display over other apps”, which you can turn off at any time.
